Devilishy Good Desserts!

I don’t eat sweets too often so obviously I devoured these pretty little desserts after I photographed them! There wasn’t a chance I could resist… and I’m happy I didn’t!

BTS: Amanda Benoit, pastry chef at Surf House in Carolina Beach makes sure her Chocolate Bar – a flourless torte with caramel, bourbon sugar and vanilla ice cream looks as good as it tastes!

I’ll take two!

Osteria Cicchetti’s Peanut Butter Cake – Layers of smooth chocolate ganache, creamy peanut butter mousse, roasted peanutes and salted caramels….drooooooollllllll!!

Kathy Rayle, owner of Bakla-Vavoom, gave to me the best Baklava I’ve ever had. Simple, sweet, crispy, and delicious!

Who’s ready for dessert! I know I am….
